Ethnic music has recently become more integrated in mainstream pop and dance music. J’Anna’s most recent ethnic music endeavors include her work with the band Ziroq, a band that combines a mixture of Flamenco, Middle-Eastern, Gypsy, Indian and Hard Rock influences. This unique blend of styles has given her the opportunity to stretch her creativity and technique when playing like a mad [crazy] gypsy woman.

She also plays with a middle-eastern orchestra in Los Angeles called MESTO. It is a group that is made up of western instruments combined with traditional middle-eastern instruments. They perform both traditional pieces as well as newly composed works.
